After another close race for the No.1 spot, it was The Script who eventually preveiled over Amelia Lilly to claim their first ever UK No.1 with their hit single: Hall of Fame feat Will.I.am . At the beginning of the week, Amelia Lilly’s debut single You Bring Me Joy seemed destined to top the chart with a solid 36% lead over it’s nearest challenger. However, by the end of Thursday the gap had be narrowed to just 4% according to the Official Chart company.
