Rihanna-Diamonds (In The Sky)

Check out Rihanna’s new single Diamonds (In The Sky). The song is instantly catchy with it’s killer hook: “Shine bright like a diamond”. We at Songmaker love it and we think it’s going to be another massive hit for Ri-Ri.

London Fashion week adventure!

September. Fashion invades London. Starting with the fourth edition of the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. September does not only signal the end of the summer and the time to start wrapping yourself for the winter season. It is also the most thrilling and delightful month for all the fashionistas out there.
On the 6th of September, like an open-air, never ending catwalk, the streets of Mayfair was home to a sea of fashionable people. From Bond Street to Sloane Street, it didn’t matter if you were feeling funky, boho-chic, preppy or posh there are plenty of choices for your window shopping, and goodies waiting for you in most of the shops.
That’s what we experienced, wandering around the core of the luxurious area. First stop was Topshop. The London Oxford Circus flagship offered a special showcase of the British singer-songwriter Delilah, who captured the shoppers’ attention with her acoustic performance. Then we headed to Carnaby Street where Cheap Monday launched a fun competition: write your fashion message on a tee or tote bag in the store which was yours to keep and the best one were chosen to be produced and sold.
Regent Street couldn’t be more glamorous, from the pinkish Vespa of Juicy Couture to the living mannequin posing for Banana Republic, being there sets you in the right mood for spending all your money. The affordable Swedish brand H&M also gave shoppers the opportunity to be like a star by offering a live in-store photoshoot for it’s customers.
The songmaker team then moved onto New Bond Street where the brand new Victoria Secret Store blew us away. After polishing off our champagne that was giving to us on entry, we made our way through the four-floors, which opened on the 29th of August. It displayed styles worn by famous models like Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Miranda Kerr. Right next to Victoria Secret was the Mulberry store, which hosted the super exclusive official Vogue party. Also, parked outside was a fashionable 1960’s retro london bus, which was converted into a hair salon. Of course, the Vouge bus attract an eager queue of women waiting to freshen up their hair.
Closing the night was some astonishing live music which included free beers and mojitos at the Spanish brand: Pull&Bear. The Spanish brand literally garnished our night with an innovative “stud your clothes” workshop and a small concert by the band Dog Is Dead. This young and fresh indie-rock band is a must see for the future. Trust Us!
